For 11v11 adult football, the goal size is 24ft x 8ft. For youth 11v11 games (typically for players aged 13 and 14), the recommended goal size is 21ft x 7ft.

The FutureFit initiative will come into effect from the 2026/27 season across England and will see under 13s continuing with 9v9 games. and under 14s to under 16s players using 21ft x 7ft goals for 11-a-side games, with aged 16 and above using full-size 24ft x 8ft goals.
