Cadishead Sports JFC was founded in 1974, with their home at Rowson Drive Playing Fields. From humble beginnings, supported with a handful of volunteers and teams, the club now provides football facilities to a much wider community.

From its early beginnings, teams have continually progressed and developed, and each year new teams have formed, and from this tiny acorn the club has gone from strength to strength. They now have over 400 children representing the club from under 5s up to under 16s. The club's philosophy is that football is an inclusive sport for all boys and girls, and they have a number of mixed ability and mixed gender teams throughout the age groups.

Cadishead Sports JFC is run entirely by volunteers from our local community. They are committed to long term player development and welcome parents and carers to their coaching team, helping to support them on their journey to becoming FA qualified coaches. They believe this combination provides the best way to create a fun, positive environment for nurturing talent whilst facilitating strong links with their community.

The club's teams are competitive and fiercely proud to wear the blue and black of Cadishead Sports. They celebrate their victories, but winning isn’t everything, as they want all their players to be confident in experimenting and taking risks as they develop their skills.

They are affiliated to the Warrington Junior Football League (WJFL) and Warrington Saturday Football League (WSFL) and play their matches at their home ground of Rowson Drive as well as using Cadishead Park for some of their 9-a-side and 11-a-side games.
