Graig Villa Dino FC formed in 2021, following the merger of Villa Dino Christchurch FC and Whitehead Graig United JFC. The clubs came together with a long term vision to build a thriving, successful, community club at their shared Whiteheads home. The red and orange stars on their badge reflect the colours of both clubs.

The club currently has more than 500 registered players and more than 25 teams across its men's, women's, boys' and girls' sections, making it the largest grassroots club in Newport and second largest in Wales.

Their teams host and travel to clubs across Newport, Gwent and South Wales every weekend, and they have football from U6s to U16s along with men's and women’s senior teams, making them one of the only clubs to offer a pathway for boys and girls from u6 to senior football.

The club’s home is Whitehead Sports and Social Club where their senior and junior football sections play their home matches and train throughout the season. The facilities are among the best in the city and also home to Whitehead RFC, bowls and archery as well as a popular social club and events programme with more than 1000 members and thousands of visitors every year.
