RMC Sports was established in December 2008, with the aim of increasing the amount of pupil participation in a number of different sports throughout the North Somerset and surrounding areas.

They have continued to grow year on year and now deliver committed, reliable and quality sports coaching to school-age children throughout their local region.

RMC Sports continues to support schools with breakfast clubs, PPA Cover, lunchtime clubs and after-school clubs. Their Holiday Sports Clubs provide parents with a safe, active and fun alternative for their children’s school holiday activities, and these sessions are fantastic value for money.

The number of sports birthday parties they deliver is rising each year, with children and their friends enjoying a great choice of fun activities on their special day. RMC Sports also runs a number of toddler classes for children aged 18 months to 4 years old at different halls, centres and nurseries around North Somerset.

Russell Cox is the Director and head coach who created RMC Sports Coaching in 2008, following almost four years as a sports coach, including time coaching football in America, during which time he developed the vision for RMC Sports. 

Russell coaches a vast number of sports. Football is his main passion and he has been coaching at North Somerset Football Development since June 2014. As well as running RMC Sports, Russell also coaches for Somerset Cricket Club and Yatton & Cleeve United FC.
