StrikerUK1 is based in South Yorkshire and was founded by Zak Dearnley, an ex-professional footballer whose career began at one of the most prestigious clubs in the world, the youth academy of Manchester United.


Starting as a youngster at 7 years old, Zak went all the way through the ranks to the Under-21s team, growing up with players like Marcus Rashford & Scott McTominay, to name a few. He earned the opportunity to train with the senior squad under José Mourinho and managed to get himself on the bench for a Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace. Zak then went on to play professionally for clubs such as Oldham Athletic and Halifax Town, both clubs where he scored on his debut.

StrikerUK1 have also recently launched an exciting new football program, Mini Strikers, designed especially for children aged 2 to 11! 

This fun-filled journey is perfect for young, aspiring little stars to grow in confidence, learn new skills, and most importantly, have loads of fun! 

Mini Strikers (Ages 2–4)
A playful, engaging introduction to football through fun games and movement – building confidence and enjoyment from the very first kick!

Development Group (Ages 5–11)
A positive, high-energy environment where kids can continue learning, develop their football skills, and enjoy match-style play – all while having a great time!

At Mini Strikers, they’re all about fun, growth, and creating a love for the game from the ground up.
