Wakefield Owls JFC, founded in 2016 initially with an under 11s football team, and based in Stanley, Wakefield, aim to be an integral part of the community in the Outwood, Wrenthorpe, Lofthouse, Stanley, and wider Wakefield area by providing sporting opportunities to young people and adults. They want to make sporting activity available to the community and to make sport an integral part of the community by encouraging regular challenging fun activities in an inclusive, safe and nurturing environment. They play in the Garforth Junior Football League.

Currently, their permanent home is Stanley Rodillians Rugby Club, where all of their home matches and training sessions take place, apart from winter training. They are proud of the very strong relationship they have with the Rugby Club and the local community.

Wakefield Owls JFC are proud to be an England Football 2** Accredited Club. England Football Accredited leagues and clubs raise the bar and lead by example for football in England. Being England Football Accredited demonstrates that they create more chances, for more people, to play and enjoy football. Accredited clubs and leagues lead the game by example, and Wakefield Owls JFC are a safer, stronger, more effective and more enjoyable club to play football.
